About Tower Fan Reviews

Tower Fan Reviews exists for one reason: choosing a tower fan in the UK is more confusing than it should be. Dozens of near-identical models, inflated marketing claims about "powerful" airflow, and very little honest information about noise or running costs.

We fix that by doing the boring work for you. We read the specifications properly, we work through verified owner reviews to find the faults that repeat, and we calculate what each fan actually costs to run. Then we judge them on the things that genuinely matter, airflow, noise, running cost, features and build quality.

We do not run a test lab

We think you should know exactly what our ratings rest on. We do not measure airflow or decibels ourselves, and we never present a manufacturer's figures as our own readings. What we do is compare published specifications, analyse verified owner reviews at scale, and calculate running costs from each fan's rated wattage. Our full method is set out here.

We're independent

We don't take payment for reviews or rankings. We're funded through affiliate links: when you buy through a link on our site, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That commission never changes our verdict, plenty of expensive fans sit below cheaper ones in our rankings because they earned their place.

How we keep advice current

Tower fan ranges change every year and prices move constantly, especially in summer. We re-check our top picks and prices regularly and update the "last updated" date on every page so you always know how fresh our advice is.
