De Longhi 2KW Ceramic Tower Fan Heater Review
De'Longhi is an Italian appliance company, which specialises in small domestic products. Their more iconic ranges include espresso coffee machines (very Italian!), however they also make tower fans and other cooling products.
De'Longhi are a decently high end brand, but the costs won't be setting you back as much as some other competition with tower fans costing you more than £100.Â
Our Score
- Maximum power: 2000 W
- Safe and efficient ceramic heating element, that provides fast and powerful spot heat safely, thanks to the ceramic element self-regulating heat output
- Digital control panel with LED display
- 2 power settings to optimize the energy consumption
What really sets De'Longhi apart however, is their capable customer service and design philosophy. Replacing the usual metal and plastic materials with some ceramic.Â
This is great for those extra hot days, as metal will end up retaining the heat for significantly longer periods of time compared to a ceramic material.
This smart and sleek design also fits into most modern apartment designs and aesthetics, meaning you won't have to worry about it looking out of place when the time comes to cool down.
Features of De'Longhi Fans
The De'Longhi Bend Line fans come with a remote control, allowing you easy access to all its features. Perfect for those who are less mobile or disabled.Â

This particular tower fan range also comes with a range of prices. While the 65v20 models will set you back anywhere between £80 to £85, the 60c20 model is a more modest £50 price tag.
So if you don't need the most powerful fan in the world, then you can always downgrade the model appropriately without resorting to buying a fan from a less trustworthy brand.Â
The more powerful fans in the De'Longhi Bend Line also come with an anti-frost function. This is vital when it comes to super high end fans, which boast about their power and cooling ability.Â
Without it, you may have to turn your fan off for extended periods of time to, ironically, heat up. Thankfully, this isn't an issue with the De'Longhi fans.
Benefits of De'Longhi Fans
Despite replacing metal with ceramic, the De'Longhi Bend Line is remarkably very lightweight and easy to move. Something which most fan users take for granted.

Being able to position your fan easily without over exerting yourself is key to a good fan experience, and De'Longhi have you covered.Â
The fan is also very easy to use, and the design is very user friendly. Complete with an LED display to help guide you through using your De'Longhi fan.Â
If a digital control panel and a remote control don't seal the deal for you, then you'll be glad to know that the De'Longhi Bend Line actually doubles up.
That's right, it serves as a heater as well as a fan. This makes it ideal for those rough winter months as well as the summer heat waves.
Downsides to the De'Longhi Fan Range
Although well designed, there are some flaws which set the De'Longhi fan range back a bit. This unfortunately prevents it being the very best fan in the game.Â
One of the main complaints is that the fan isn't very smart, despite all the digital trinkets added onto it. Everytime you plug it in, you'll have to manually set it up again.Â

The fan will not remember your previous settings, even if it's unplugged for even a second. Not to mention that some users have issues with the fan itself.Â
While usually quiet when used as a fan, even on maximum settings, the De'Longhi Bend Line's heater mode is rather infamous for being a bit of a noise generator.
Reports also vary on the power of the fan and heater, with some users finding it difficult to get enough power out of their De'Longhi.Â
The main reason for this is usually room size, but for bedrooms and a home office the De'Longhi range should suffice and do well.Â
Some users even take the De'Longhi range on boat trips, but if you need to cool a living room or family dining area you may struggle with this Italian superstar.
Our Review
Is the De'Longhi Bend Line range value for money? We would say so! Although not ideal for larger rooms, the product is near perfect when used correctly.
The oscillation settings can cool a larger than suggested room, although it would be better pointed in the direction of the people sitting in the room.Â
This way the fan can adequately, and quietly, keep everyone nice and cool in the summer months. Alternatively, it can also keep everyone toasty and cosy in the winter.Â
The remote control, lightweight and intelligent design, and the easy use of the product make it an ideal fan for those who are less tech savvy as well.Â
You don't need to know a lot about technology to work a De'Longhi fan, you only need to read the sleek LED display and press a few buttons. Simple really!
