When it comes to choosing a fan for your home, one of the things that needs careful consideration is the noise level. The last thing that you want is to buy a fan that is going to disturb you or the other people who live with you.
Fortunately, there are plenty of quiet tower fans on the market right now. So that we can save you some time, we have decided to test and review as many models as we possibly can.
If you carry on reading below, then you will find what we think are three of the best silent & quiet tower fans on the market right now. Hopefully our reviews will give you a better idea of what to expect from each model.
Features: 45w Motor - 40" - 3 Speeds - 7 Hour Timer - 80 Degree Oscillation - Remote Control - 106.5 x 21.8 x 21.6 cm - 5.4kg
The number one spot on our list of the best silent & quiet tower fan reviews goes to this model from Pro Breeze. This oscillating tower fan first caught our attention with its simple yet stylish design. It doesn't look like anything too fancy, but it suits both the home and the office.
After we had assembled the fan, which only took a matter of minutes, we noticed that the base of the fan could have been a little heavier for better tipping protection, but other than that we were really impressed with it.
One of the design features that we really liked was the touch control panel which is where you are able to change all of the settings and the oscillation feature. Once we had switched on the fan, we were able to see the power behind the speeds.
We have to say that all three speed settings are really powerful and all of them are relatively quiet too. Another thing that we liked was the ability to use the timer feature to set the perfect cooling schedule overnight.
A final plus point is the handy wireless remote control that comes with this fan. We found this really useful for larger rooms. We would definitely recommend this fan to everyone.
Features: 45w Motor - 29" - 3 Speeds - 7.5 Hour Timer - 70 Degree Oscillation - Remote Control - 22 x 22 x 79 cm - 2.5kg
The next entry on our list of the best quiet & silent tower fans is the Igenix DF0035T Oscillating Tower Fan. What we instantly liked about the design of this tower fan is that it is really basic. It has an incredibly simple design, but it doesn't look cheap in the slightest.
This tower fan is designed to be extra slimline, so it fits neatly into rooms both small and large. When it came to using this fan we were really impressed with the noise levels that it produced. We tried using it overnight with the timer feature and we were not disturbed at all.
The only downside with this tower fan is the fact that the degree of oscillation is only 70 degrees which while it is quite generous, it could be a lot bigger. However, if you are looking for a mid range tower fan that is really quiet, then this might be just what you need.
Features: 14" - 2 Speeds - No Timer - 85 Degree Oscillation - 39 x 16 x 15 cm - 1.4kg
The final spot on our list of the best quiet and silent tower fans goes to this model from NETTA. We have tested out a few different NETTA fans in the past and we have always been pleased, so it was no surprise to us that we were pleased with this one too.
First of all, the design is nice and basic and doesn't stand out in the slightest. Taking it out of the box, we simply needed to assemble it so that we could get started on our tests. The first thing that we did was test the different settings.
We were a little disappointed to find that there are only 2 settings to choose from, but they were both quite effective. Most importantly, both of the speed settings very very quiet so we weren't disturbed at all.
We also really liked that this was a fan that is compact enough to be used as an effective desk fan. Overall, we would definitely recommend this model.
We hope that our reviews have helped you to see some of the options that you have for quiet fans and that you find it much easier to choose the right models for your needs personally.
